Patented technology 3D stereogram three-dimensional objects
Trick art painting technique: A stereogram was recreated using the unevenness of a three-dimensional object.
- "Stereogram" is a painting technique where, by intentionally shifting the focus of the eyes, an illustration or completely different image emerges from a pattern that appears to be just a simple design; it is one of the so-called trick arts. - This trick art, which has only been depicted in printed materials and on flat surfaces until now, has been transformed into a three-dimensional object with depth using a unique technology developed by Nangō Co., Ltd., reproducing the stereogram. When you shift your focus to the central part that looks like just a pattern, illustrations such as a rabbit or a sailing ship emerge. - We have obtained a patent for this idea and the unique manufacturing technology that realizes it. Additionally, this three-dimensional work won the gold prize in the mold and modeling category at the "8th Cutting Processing Dream Contest" organized by Mori Seiki Co., Ltd.
